If your document'sCompatibility setting is Acrobat 5 (PDF 1.4) or earlier, the Convert16 Bits option is unavailable, and images are automatically convertedto 8 bits per channel.

If you set any security restrictionsin your file, you should set both passwords; otherwise, anyone whoopens the file could remove the restrictions. If a file is openedwith a permissions password, the security restrictions are temporarilydisabled.
